Name of Tutorial:Transparent Bars Author:Kazmax Difficulty:Beginner Description:Learn to make transparent bars over a logo, it looks pretty awesome over signatures too! Tutorial: Okay you ever get bored of plain black? Well I do, so check this out! Take any image with a black background (or white, just when I say to fill it white, you fill it black) I'll take the cobra logo. Okay, now take the selecter tool and select about 15-20 pixels high and the width of the image (or as far as you want it to go) where you want the bar to go. At this point it should look kinda like this: Alright now it's time to make a new layer (Press Shift+Ctrl+N) now fill the selected area white. You'll get something like this: Almost done, now bring up the blending options (Layer>Layer Style>Blending Options) and set the opacity to whatever you want, I used 50. This is what I got: That's it! :-D Brought To You By: Recouse Heaven
